Dr. Ron Taylor came to Heritage Christian Academy as Headmaster in July of 2007. During his 37-year career in education, Dr. Taylor has served as a teacher, principal, and administrator. Formerly a principal and superintendent of First Baptist Academy in Dallas, he spent the last 16 years as Director of Elementary Schools for the Garland Independent School District, overseeing the district’s 47 elementary schools.
Dr. Taylor has a Bachelor of Science degree in History and Physical Education, a Master of Science Degree in Educational Administration, and a Doctorate in Educational Administration (Ed.D.) from East Texas State University. He also has Superintendent's Certification from the Texas Education Agency. With years of experience in education, Dr. Taylor has a passion for quality Christian education.
