Jodi Benavidez

I am Jodi Benavidez, the College Counselor at Heritage Christian Academy . I love being to be a part of the staff and families at Heritage. I started at Heritage Christian Academy fall 2007.  I come to Heritage with a Bachelor degree from Austin College in Biology, minor in Religion and a Master of Education degree from Dallas Baptist University . I previously worked at Collin College for six years in Recruitment and Programs for New Students where I served as the Special Admissions Coordinator and the Destination College Coordinator. I have worked with the dual credit program, new student orientation, parent programming, and college readiness initiatives. I feel my experience and education will serve the students and families of Heritage Christian Academy well and will work to the best of my ability to assist the students with their educational goals. On the personal side, I have a five year son and a three year old daughter who also attend Heritage. I am a life-time resident of Rowlett and have been a member of Lake Pointe church for over 25 years. I love sharing in the lives of the great students at Heritage and working as a team to help them become the best that God created them to be.
