College Counselor
Jodi Collins
I would like to introduce myself, Jodi Collins, as the new academic counselor at Heritage Christian Academy. I am excited to join the staff and families at Heritage. I come to Heritage with a Bachelor degree from Austin College in Biology, minor in Religion and a Master of Education degree from Dallas Baptist University. I have worked at Collin County Community College for six years in Recruitment and Programs for New Students where I served as the Special Admissions Coordinator and most recently the Destination College Coordinator. I have worked with the dual credit program, new student orientation, parent programming, and college readiness initiatives. I feel my experience and education will serve the students and families of Heritage Christian Academy well and will work to the best of my ability to assist the students with their educational goals. On the personal side, my husband and I have a six month old daughter, Charis Mae. I am a life-time resident of Rowlett and have been a member of Lake Pointe church for 25 years. I am looking forward to sharing in the lives of the great students at Heritage and working as a team to help them become the best that God created them to be.
