Mission HCA offers our students at every level an opportunity to give to others the love and truth that has been poured into them. Our mission is to expose our students to community, national, and global needs, allowing them to discover and utilize their spiritual gifts and unique temperaments in a variety of ministry opportunities, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to fulfill the Great Commission.
One Friday a quarter is designated as Mission HCA Day. All secondary students and staff are divided into mission teams. Each team participates in a different mission project each quarter. During the month of December, a full week is set aside for mission work. Some students go on a mission trip to places like New Orleans for Katrina relief or to Mexico to do work for an orphanage, while others stay and do mission work in the Dallas/Rockwall area. During the summer, Mission HCA sponsors a mission trip to Ghana, West Africa. HCA is raising funds to build a church for the Dagomba tribe in the Kushibo Village.

The success of this program is being recognized outside of our small community as well. In 2007 the Association of Christian Schools International named Mission HCA as an exemplary program, one they hope to see implemented in other schools under their umbrella.
